Girls tend to develop certain skills earlier than boys: for example, the ability to sit still and stay attentive. Our school day, more often than not, demands that students do just that — sit for long periods of time and listen attentively — or else suffer a lower grade or disciplinary action. I agree that girls can sit down and stay focused for longer periods of time than boys. That proves that school is mostly for girls, but in my opinion if the educational system changes in order to adapt to each sex, then boys can do good at school as well as girls.
